Sheds, decks, fences, and interior tear-outs. We take it down and haul it away in the same visit, so you are not left with a pile in the yard and a second company to call.
Outdoor Light Demolition: garden sheds, storage barns, carports, gazebos, and pergolas. Decks, stairs, and railings. Fences, posts and concrete footings. Above-ground pools and hot tub surrounds. Old playsets and trampolines. Collapsed or rotting structures.
Indoor Light Demolition: kitchen cabinets, countertops, and islands. Bathroom tear-outs including tub, vanity, and tile. Flooring, underlay, and carpet. Non-structural partition walls. Built-in shelving, closets, and paneling. Old fireplace surrounds.
Demolition and disposal are usually two separate problems. A handyman takes the deck apart and leaves it stacked on your lawn. Then you discover that no bin company wants mixed lumber, concrete footings and old fence boards in one load, and the pile sits there for a month.
We do both. The structure comes down and goes straight onto the truck. You get one price, one crew and one day.
Once the walls are down, the debris has to go somewhere, which is where construction debris removal comes in. For hot tubs or old decks, see hot tub removal, and for a full property, property cleanouts. The Just For Today Junk Removal home page has the rest.
The structure comes down with the same crew that removes it.
The debris goes straight onto our truck, not into a pile on your lawn.
Not a demolition quote and then a separate disposal bill.
Concrete post footings are the most common thing left out of other quotes and the most common surprise on the invoice. Ours are in or out, stated before we start.
Lumber, concrete, metal and old roofing from the same structure go on the same truck with no contamination charge.
Treated lumber and clean wood go to different streams, and metal fencing, brackets and hardware go to scrap recycling.
Structural, load bearing or permitted work gets sent to a licensed demolition contractor. We would rather lose the booking than start something we should not.
Raked, swept, nails collected, ready for the deck, patio or lawn that is going there next.
Feedback from customers in Surrey and Metro Vancouver.
Yes when it is in the quote, and we always state it one way or the other before we start. Concrete footings are the single most common thing other quotes leave out.
Yes, and it is cheaper as one job than two visits. The surround comes apart first, then the tub is dismantled and carried out in sections.
Usually not for a small shed, deck or fence, but permit rules vary by municipality and by size. Check with your city before booking if the structure is large or close to a property line.
No. We handle non structural interior tear out and small exterior structures. Structural work needs a licensed demolition contractor and we will say so.
We do not handle it. If the property is pre 1990 and the job opens walls, ceilings or old flooring, get it tested before anyone disturbs it.
Yes. The teardown and the haul away are one price and one visit.
